Compressed Natural Gas. Note the stock EV1 two door configuration.

Fuel Cell. Note the additional rear window configuration. Possibly a four seater vehicle.

Parallel-Hybrid by definition is akin to the Gen1 Honda Insight where the gas engine is boosted by an electric motor to achieve better gas mileage, c2000, with no "electric-only" mode. A Series-Hybrid by definition is akin to an EV, propelled by the EV drive-train, with a gas engine operating a generator to charge/maintain the traction battery pack. Parallel requires the gas engine to operate for motive power, Series does not.

Note the additional rear window configuration. Again, possibly a four seater vehicle. Also note the air-intake on the rear quarter panels, likely a radiator intake and/or an ICE air supply intake.

NiMH. The NiMH configuration utilized 26 Ovonic NiMH 11 cell modules and, although a slightly different footprint, proved to be a rather simple upgrade from the 26 Panasonic 1260U PbA module configuration previously utilized. The EV1 had three (3) different battery configurations during its brief lifetime, starting with the AC Delco PbA, and graduating to the two aforementioned module types.
