It is not often acknowledged,
but like GM and the EV1 car crushing saga, Toyota
also forceably crushed hundreds if not
thousands of  their Rav4-EVs during the same time periods
just as the events
widely published regarding GM's EV1 demise.

Toyota generally got a 'pass' as they had publically sold 328
model year '02 & '03 Rav4-EVs, leaving at lease
a small portion of the fleet in private hands.

Fast forward to c2024 many of the 328 privately held
Rav4-EVs are still in use, although without
factory support from Toyota.
