This is a better view of the 5 battery tray watering pumps located in front of the main water reservoir, up inside the frame structure of the vehicle.
This shot is showing the watering pumps on the top, you can see the battery trays ventilation / cooling system in the middle (hi-low), and rows 1, 2, & 3 of the battery boxes.
Here, row 3 is to the left, with rows 4, 5 & 6 pictured. The watering systems bubbler is shown just above rows 5 and 6.
Here you can see rows 7 and 8, with the pack break where the rear axle transverses the vehicle. Note the RJ-11 boxes which link to the individual battery monitoring system in the cockpit.
This view shows the rear battery box, rows 9 & 10; as well as the heavy duty rear suspension. The battery pack holds 30 Eagle-Picher NiFe 5 cell units, and weighs 1650 lbs.
This view looks from the left rear undercarriage to the right front, and shows the battery box mounts, the cooling system hookups, and the high voltage DC negative cable coming from the rear pack connection.
